Visitors to Sheringham can also enjoy the Prior Maze and Garden. This popular and beautiful outdoor spot actually consists of ten different gardens. Visitors can enjoy roaming through the garden grounds and seeing the different types of plants and flowers in the various gardens. For those who want a little more adventure to their nature journey then there are two mazes that you can try to find your way through. One of the mazes is the Christmas Tree Maze. This maze is made out of trees used for Christmas trees, after harvesting some of these trees the maze was left. Many of these trees have grown so much that it is as though you are wandering through a tunnel of trees. The other maze was made as a representation of the Beeston Prior, which is now in ruins. Following that same guideline and using the beautiful Copper Beech as the walls there is an intersperse of Green Hornbeam. Wandering the "ruins" can make for an enjoyable afternoon.
Sea, sun, and nature make Sheringham a popular tourist stop.
