Salisbury Old Mill House
Welcome

to the Salisbury Old Mill House which has achieved the prestigious Silver Award from the English Tourist Council, and the Highly Commended Award from the AA. The mill is set in an acre of land with a gorgeous millpond overlooking the magnificent Wylye valley. We are 10 minutes from the cathedral city of Salisbury and 15 from Stonehenge. With much to see and do within a short drive the Mill is the perfect touring base from which to explore old Wessex.

This beautifully restored watermill exudes character, with original 14th century machinery in view. Friendly and welcoming, this guesthouse offers well appointed bedrooms, a lounge area with wood burning stove, and a large dining room in which we serve delicious breakfasts and evening meals. There are also many fine pub restaurants nearby.

We have Broadband Internet connection available for our guests. We also offer secure parking for cars and motorbikes and a lock-up barn for bicycles.

Our breakfasts are prepared with the finest produce. Why not treat yourself to a tasty Full English, or a fresh tangy tropical fruit salad with creamy yoghurt and croissants? Our traditionally smoked Manx kippers are delicious, or smoked salmon and fluffy scrambled eggs can make the perfect start to the day.

In the evening enjoy a candlelit supper of our speciality game pie with port, or salmon steaks with lemon cream sauce. Desserts include berry meringue pavlova, wickedly indulgent tiramisu with marsala, or perhaps a luxury cheesecake with Belgian chocolate shavings.

Why not drink a glass of chilled champagne at sunset to celebrate a special occasion? In fact any of our fine selection of wines is sure to please you! On warm summer evenings we are happy for you to eat outside and enjoy the stunning views of the valley.

We offer a varied menu but as I cater just for you it would be helpful where possible to have the same menu choices. Also we usually ask for 24 hours notice for meals and please do let us know of any special dietary requirements.
